Students will learn a chant about the five senses. Asks s. what the five senses are in their language. גוף השיעור Slide 2: Pre teach lines from song. Slide 3: T. tells s. they are going to watch a song about the five senses. S. should try remember 1-3 words from the chant. Show 2-3 times and elicit responses from s. Important: the chant is very fast, so make sure to tell the s. ahead. Tell them they will hear it a few times and reassure them that by the end of this unit they will all probably be able to recite the chant – even very fast. Slides 4,5: Go over vocabulary items with s. Slides 6,7: Elicit meaning of each line and practice reciting the chant with s.: Teacher says and s. repeat, T and S alternate lines, have individual students recite, etc.. Slide 8: Match words to pics Slide 9: Read and complete the sentences. Elicit understanding. S. do the first worksheet during or after the presentation, part of it can be done as HW. סיכום Review vocabulary items presented in lesson. Repeat chant. יישום In pairs, s. share ideas of things in the classroom they can see,hear,smell,taste or touch. שיעורי בית Finish worksheet, practice chant מהלך שיעור 2: מהלך ההוראה תיאור הפעילות פתיחה Lesson 2 Five Senses – Part 2 Recite chant Slide 1 – Tell s. they are going to talk about the things they like to do with their senses. גוף השיעור Slides 2 – 6: Read the question. Elicit meaning. of chunk "What do you like to…?" Students follow and do exercise 4 in worksheet. סיכום יישום S. do worksheet in pairs and practice asking each other "What do you like to see/hear" etc..
